    Depends heavily on the Professor, as mentioned above. My own professor had a significant liberal bent, and ran his course like a survey of all the typical issues out there. While I'm not so big a fan of political teachers, I will say he made some new and compelling arguments that I had never heard before, and it ended up working out quite well. There were many readings, and he graded harshly.

    Your experience depends on the professor. I had a brilliant one who was excellent at explaining material, but the grading system was horrible, and it was more a modern political philosophy class than ethics. The texts we read were also super dense, though not too long.

    Depends who you have as different professors assign various amounts of work. Professors also tailor to their individual areas of research. Class experience depends on professor.
