If you are interested in a course where you learn about black holes and the fun cosmological aspects of space, then this isn't the course for you. If you are interested in calculating the distance between two stars or planets as they are rotating and moving through space, including their celestial latitude/longitude coordinates then this course might interest you. Very mathematical course.

One of the great surprises for me at Duke. I was dreading this class but ended up absolutely loving it!!! It was easy and fun!

This is a classic class people to take to get the NS and QS credit. I though some of the exams were a little tough but overall solid course. We had a lot of fun learning about stars and the grading was very friendly at the end.
