The problem solving seminar is a half credit course for people really interested in national math competitions. The big ones we focus on are the Putnam exam and the Virginia Tech math contest. These exams can be key to graduate school admission and this class is very helpful for preparation. We met once a week and learned different strategies about succeeding on these exams.
