Good class, relatively hard. Helps to study regularly rather than wait for the midterm. Take it with Nechyba if you can -- he's a great professor.

Well taught but concepts are difficult and hard to apply outside of theory

I took the class with Nechyba, who is a great professor. The textbook for the class is written by him as well, and the material is well explained. The tests were very challenging though (and so are the problem sets), so prepare well in advance.

Pretty tough like most econ core classes. Definitely learn a lot but very theoretical. Class gets curved to a B/B+ usually. Best to take with Nechyba.
