Design for the Developing World
Neat BME design course where you're building actual devices to be used by individuals in rural or developing areas. Some are legacy projects, passed on from previous semesters, while others are new each semester. I took it with Dr. Malkin, and he is an excellent instructor who truly wants you to succeed. He is a great mentor for post-course, too.
Really cool class - you work in teams to design actual devices that will help people. There is a lot of design work and a few oral presentations involved as well.
